incubus87
after owning a bright yellow mark 5 for a while and then an e36 compact (untill a truck driver decided to modify the front end to look like something similar to a jade goodys left buttcok) after a while of having no car if finally got a little mk6 mexico to run around in.its a 96'er, 3 door, ash black. need a little bit of work but nothing that will take longer than a few sunny days (although saying that since the moment i brought it, it has stopped pissing it down).it has 2 small patches of bubble rust (1 on tailgate and 1 on the offside arch) the only real problem is the running. i believe there is a malfunction with the ecu or somewhere within the wiring, but being as my father & uncle are mechanics this shall be sorted nice and soon.and yes there are 1 or 2 (or 5) chavv accessories on the car, please dont verbally attack me over these as they shall be removed with haste.check it out and let me know what you think.gaz
fox3
Not too bad at all! Slap some colour coded bumpers and remove the nasty wipers and you've got a nice car! Also, you want to be carefull with the plates, the coppers round where I am are clamping down at the moment!
chaved escort
Looks good mate, going to save it from the chavs just like me. I brought one with all the chav gear on, its in the process of coming of haha..
matthewp1992
looks like a good base there. you need to remove the tacky chrome wipers and make the exhaust fit properly, take the sunstrip off, change the grill to a better one, colour code the bumpers and lower it and it will look good. incubus87
thanks for all the comments guys.the plans are as follows:remove all chavvy accessories (bling)get the engine running sweet or totaly replace engine and ecu etc with a 2.0 block from a mondy.the wheels are temporary, i just had them spare in my shed, look better than steelys with trims lol.i will hopefully get something of a similar design to what Tez162003 has on his rather sexy motor.from there i will be putting on mondy v6 calipers with cossie discs.i wanna lower it but i just dont want it squeeking, im after a nice cosy ride.i was thinking of purchasing an evotech front for it but im not to sure of how it would look being a black car as this would hide the sexy curves on the bumper.im after some sideskirts but not gti style as these dont really do it for me.the rear will probably end up as gti with spats.definatly going to change the rear light.half tints i think.tinting the windows.and halo style headlights.the interior shall be uber funky i just want something thats subtly eye cathing and very nice to drive/ride in.one more thing ...how many people agree with me....a mk6 mexico interior is heaven compared to tht of a mk5 escort

si_escort
plans sound good, i'd have to say my mk5 is nicer to sit in than the mk6 mexico...
sortedford
looks a bit pap But as your plans go it sounds like it should look great when finished. EVOtechs do look good on a black motor (im sure you allready know we sell them cheap too) then you can let me have your front bumper

Jim_RS
I'm happy with my MK6 RS-interieur lol. It's a very nice car to start with your mods. There's nothing wrong with that. But it needs some lowering Grts, Jim_RS
