hmmm... I quite like them wheels in black - I got them style wheels on the estate and like the look so I think in black with that colour car would look very nice ...

also like the smoothing - nice and simple looking subtly clean lines etc...

could be good..

though what are the legal requirements with door handles these days?

as i said i'd probs leave the handles and loose the lock.

there has to be some sort of external access to the car if ever to result in a crash or something similar..

something like a pull cord under the car???

as above

cheers

looks sweet and with the handles different people say different i asked about this ages ago to some police o fficers and they said

Front doors must be able to be opened from the outside, but the method can be electrical as in the TVR, a solenoid operated by a button under the mirror.

Doors:

This inspection does not apply if no drivers or front passenger's doors were fitted as part of the original design of the vehicle.

A lack of door handles because of original design characteristics or specialist modification is not a reason for rejection provided the door can be latched securely in the dosed position.

How to test:

Open and close the drivers and passengers' doors. Check that each latches securely in the closed position. Check also that front doors can be opened from both inside and outside the vehicle.

Reasons For Rejection:

a. A driver's or any passengers door does not latch securely in the closed position

b. a driver's or front passenger's door cannot be opened from both inside and outside the vehicle from the relevant control in each case.

Note: Reason for rejection 1 b does not apply to:

. goods vehicles modified for the carriage of high value cargoes such as armored security vehicles

. front passenger doors if the door aperture has been permanently 'filled' as part of a specialized customization provided that there are no obvious aperture gaps.
