ive just got the 6 speed wiper stalks from a escort ghia in the scrap yards, before i fit them do i need to change the relay? i got all the relays out of the car the stalks came from but just wondering if i need to change it what one is it?

Yes its the red one , in yours at moment should be a metal clip that bridges the connections just take it out and plug in the relay they are colour coded ,job done

just been and fitted the stalks along with my "Ghia" wite clock and my new bluetoth car kit i bought off ebay for £20 , didnt read the reply till after id fitted every thing, its too dark to go outside again now so ill fit the relay tomorrow

the 6 speeds wont work until the relay is fitted thats all

ill do it tomorrow, they do work on intermitant but just at the same speed as they used to
