I'm looking to buy used alloys on ebay I've seen a few sets of 4 x 17" oz superturismo white alloys in good condition for around £300. Just wondering if 17" will fit and which size tyre's are the best???. I think white alloys would look great with amparo blue I already have a magnex straight through exhaust on my car which is loud so I'm now looking to get alloys any suggestion on which 17" alloys will fit and look good on my escort. ???

Thanks Simon

i think they look good on a blue car

I think it would look better with white alloys in particular oz ones, but thanks anyway.

Did you have any problems getting 17" on your escort and which size tyre did you use. ?? ?

17's will go on an escort long as the offset is right. generally about et35. i think if you start going for peugot offset wheels(et20), then you might find problems.

mine are 17" and my car is lowered, dunno how much though about -40mm i think. i dont get any scrubbage.

17s go on easy if you got the right offset.I had 205/40/17 tyres and weren't even close to rubbing.I have got 18s on now with 215/35/18 and they dont rub.

"had a k&n induction kit but now back to std air filter and k&n panel filter"

Hi, sorry to interupt your thread, just a quick question...I'm thinking of a k&n panel, are they good? make much difference??

:innocent:

im selling mine if your interested :)

Hi, ive not noticed mutch diffrence fitting the panel filter but if anything will let more air in than the std filter would

the induction kit looked better and made a bit more noise, but crap in the summer with all the heat from the engine compartment, and then winter time you need to clean it a lot more :nutter:

i say get the K&N panel filter :thumb:

Panel filter with the air box drilled or cone conbined with driving flat out : )
