i remember when back in the day you used to be able to get a mot done if ur car had minor fault.

mine need two front suspention rubber bush to pass its mot on friday and i still ain't fitted it :(

My car has its MOT since I have put it back together, on thursday and I'm bricking it!
passed first time on friday, its not all that bad!

Shortly before I sold mine all it needed was a replacement bulb for the rear licence plate.

Pretty good.

I think they are just brackets? The bush should have a slit in it so you can slide it over the ARB.

this is good, makes sure all cars are upto a decent std :thumb:

Its up to the examiner at the end of the day. Depends how slack/strict he is.

Yep, and now its all computerised theres the risk of comebacks.

mine was de-cat'ed and had to near slick front tyres when it went in(right afterI bought it, wanted a general idea of how bad a picture I was lookin at before it really needed to go in)..........fella passed it with flying colours and spot on emmissions.... shudda seen him brick it when I pionted out it had no Cat. and tyres that were smoother than a F1's slicks....

I had to re-assure him I wasnt a qaulity control officer afterwards...... think Ill be askin for him next time round lol

Might drive to Cheshire to see this guy... actually, no I can't... my car isn't MOT'd! :pancake:
Saw the new owner of my old mk4 the other day, he said it passed its MOT with no problems at all, wish i had kept it now!
Always the case! When you sell something you once liked, you end up wanting it back.
