December 3, 200717 yr piece of Pee to fit a lecky boot pop....if your boot release rod connection doesnt have a boot pop hook on it you can simply have one off a scrapper........beyond that you can get a scrapper loom too or you can opt for an aftermarkey one touch button with a simple live/negative circuit to the solonoid(also easily obtained out of scrappies) in the bootlid cavity(the button in that case will still work during motion tho unlike its ford standard counterpart)....either way...the lecky options likely the easiest as you dont even wanna try routing a cable release thru your motor trust me
December 3, 200717 yr Author what about the motor on the boot catch coz mine aint got the motor on it, just a straight swap from a scrapped one?
December 3, 200717 yr It's pretty simple. The whole project will took you max. one afternoon You need the seleonid with rod and that red plastic bit. You will need some extra wiring then, and of course different window/boot switch. You can trig the seleonid with live feed +, or with negative GND -.The retaining holes are already there on your tailgate...so it's just straight fit.
