can i ask another question.... last mot a advisory & fail sheet was issued on the 25/10/2006

Advisory Notice issued

Rear exhaust box joint has been pasted

Near side rear bumper tapet up and part of bumper missing

Inner and outer sills rusty

Both rear chassis rusty

Both front c.v boots pershing

Off side front lower arm rear bush perishing

Off side rear brake pipes rusty

on the 26/10/2006

it passed with no advisory

but now the sills are holed and rusty was the last mot doggy??

no advisory is the opinion of the tester at the time of testing. it is advice that said items are a cause for concern but not a failure and advisory items should require your attention in the near future
It depends on how good the mot station is ,but once its on the computer and linked to dvla so you have to get the work done or be nicked, does sound like you have a lot of underbody rust though
