December 5, 200717 yr Anyone know where these two fit,and have pics of.................... 6 speed wiper relay for mk620 sec light relay for mk6 isnt the info present in the haynes?..... can have a look in mine if I can find it(be arsed finding it* tbh) found mine if your still after info........for what its worth anyway windscreen intermittent relay(6 speed or otherwise) is a red bugger that slots into R6 socket on the board ontop of the fuse box. as for the delay maplight relay thingie....erm<lookin>....yellow one which go's into the R11 socket.... yours is a post 96 init?...N reg? crap........I just spotted the "pics" bit in the thread title.........erm...sorry lol
December 5, 200717 yr Author had a look mate and its no good,or im shite, and there is a load of scans in a fusebox thread in this section but that is of no help really. I have a box FULL of relays, many are the same colour and obviously they do different things. And i've noticed my fusebox top has lots of BLANK BLANK spaces in it (there arent even contacts inside the pin holes) i've tried trial fitting some relays into spare holes but to no avail.Anyone know exactly what relay to use and what hole it goes in,wipers are more important
December 5, 200717 yr well If you can wait till tomorrow Ive been planning on re-positioning my lecky window controls into each door panel and Ill be taking out a hefty chunk of my interior to get at the loom to salvage it, it wouldnt be to great a deal to drop the fuse box down while Im at it and get some snap shots.....mine has all the little extras including the 6 speed relay and the maplights with delay so it should cover everything you want and might help others locate what there looking at in the future........ might wish to make note tho.... Ive heard theres two different fuse boxes with some of the relay slots not being usable in one version..... Mines a 5door Si on a N with what appears to be all the little gadgets fitted in factory so chances are yours cant be to dissimiliar?
December 5, 200717 yr http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y238/bluliz/ForSale/DSC_0256.jpg The 6 speed relay(5pins) replaced the large red relay with 4 pins. The yellow 20sec relay goes in the yellow box 2 to the right of the red relay. remove the metal strip and push relay in. The intermitant rear wiper relay(orange) fits between the red wiper relay and the 20sec relay, again remove the metal strip and push the relay in. Edited December 5, 200717 yr by bluliz
