Good stuff:

all the above, car is really well specced, nice to drive. I bought as a project and put the time (and money) into it to make it a really good mk6 escort

the car has just been serviced (comma oil, oil filter, NGK ptr5a plugs) the engine was cambelted when fitted to the car (approx 2k ago)

I've spent hundreds of hours sorting all the niggly things out - vibrations, odd fault

I've spent about £1000 in the 8months i've had it fitting: New clutch, new gearbox, immaculate RS interior, 4 new toyo proxes tyres, plastic spats smoothed into the bumper

replaced the wishbones, drive shafts, cv joints fitted the magnex system and decat, replaced the inlet manifold, injectors maf and throttle body

Also worth mentioning the car is a 1.8si so cheap insurance!

shell really good for age - no rust and just one or two car park dinks

 

Bad stuff:

one of the 5 RS wheels has a slight buckle - an evo member drove the car and didn't notice it - drove me mad, but its only one out of the set of 5

Exhaust could do with repositioning - doesn't come out of rear bumper 100% straight, i've just lived with it

Rear bumper a bit matt - may come up with a good mopping, may need more laquer

 

To summerise - fantastic daily driver - reliable, good looking, nippy and comfotable/well specced - more pics available on request

 

reason for sale - Started uni this year and bought myself a cheaper run around so i can afford to get on with my project mk5b

Forgot to mention I have an RR graph from the weekend the car made 139Bhp and spat a flame out at the limiter

ran through two tanks with redex in them

I doubt many people will be looking for a new car this side of christmas. I normally buy after!

true - didn't think it would take so long to sell thought it was sold straight away, but the deal didn't work out due to a lack of fundage... Its a shame its not being used, put in so much work
