Thinking of going off round a few scrappies tomoz and i was just wondering if mondeos with the 16" gti style wheels came with spare wheels of the same kind or if it was a get me home jobby? usually over here they dont seem to do anything with the spare wheels so was gonna try and raid some brand new ones from a few different breakers to get a set if poss.... cheers

you may be better off trying to find a crash damaged car with same wheels....they might sell you 1 seperate

I was gonna try and raid the boots of a few mondys and try and get a full set of brand new mody rims and tyres if poss... was just wondering if it was worth the effort in going on a mission tomorrow as the breakers are bloody miles away from me and would be a bit gutting to find all the spare wheels are steelies lol..... oh well might just have to take a chance

Think you will find someone has removed the wheel as I have had a few mondeo si's all which had the 5th wheel and when I used to work on them back in 98 at my ford dealership they all had same style alloy in the boot too

It was an "option" back in the day to have a full alloy as a spare
