Posted December 8, 200717 yr Hi all, im in desperate need of a tow, thing is i need either a flatbed or something to lift the front wheels as its an xr3i with PAS and breaks, plus i have no rear exhaust so to run the car while being towed is gonna cause some noise, the car is in Epping in essex and needs to be bought back to southend, if there is anyone out there who can help me i would really appreciate your assistance, i will pay for the help but unfortunatly i have only around £60 spare at the mo due to xmas and having 3 kids to buy for lol, but i may b able to stretch to a little more, please if you can help get in touch, also i have to say that i have only untill the 28th of this month to collect the car or the ex is gonna scrap it, and ive put so much into it i really dont want that to happen Thanks all
December 8, 200717 yr So it runs fine apart from missing the rear part of the exhaust? I'd just drive it for such a short distance.

I'd just drive it for such a short distance. 40 miles (ish) batt is shot thru as well at mo and cant really afford to get caught driving it and risk the fine of driving car wiv no exhaust, it is real loud lol, kinda like HEY IM OVER HERE type loud lol
December 8, 200717 yr I know tow people in essex but none that'd do the return trip for 60 quid i'm afraid.

December 8, 200717 yr Just get your mate to tow you, carefully!.. The steering will be fine (unless you've got girly arms) and the brakes, well you'll just require care with that.
December 8, 200717 yr Id be more than happy to help but am affraid im too far away to cover fuel costs etc. I invested in an a frame and towed a rolling shell about 25 miles no problems. All you need is 4 decent wheels and an active steering system to use! http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h20/sutty2006/MRM22P2.jpg Works a treat.
