Was on the way home earlyer and saw a police car following me for about 5mins then on came the blues and twos ect so i pulled over i was doing about 25mph so knew it wasnt speeding so open the window and get the do you know why i stoped you sir, I must have looked a picture as i had no idea but he said your rear fogs are on so i looked at the switch no blue led on so got out rather and argue and looked they were on.I pushed the switch back in and off they went,He said do you know its an offence to drive with them on said yes but i didnt know they were.Anyway he didnt give me any fine ect and also commented how he liked the white alloys and the rear st24 bumper

The switch was one of those blue led ones the bottom was lit but the top wasnt and found it was a nackard led

so im well made up there are nice police men out there even ones who tell me the fog switch is on the indicator stalk on mk6 escorts

there is indeed a few about ,leds look nice but in the end bugger up more than the original ones
yeah there's a few about, esp in the west midlands :innocent:
decent cop, anyone who would give u points for REAR fogs, especially if u prove ur "LIVE" light on the dash is bust would be a cock in my books

iv never experienced a bad cop to be honest. they always let me on my way. iv been pulled over for my front fogs being on, no, i wasnt being a chav and driving with them on, my knee mustve hit the switch, he asked me the visual distance its legal to turn them on at, which i got wrong lol. so he said, turn em off and be gone.

another time was for 'going thru a red light' which was amber and was on a high street at rush hour. he saw i had insurance tax and mot, told me i was a nice bloke and told me to get on my way.

another time i was driving my shitty mondy that was a state, and they pulled me over saying my car had been reported stolen lol. then did the same as the last guy.

the other time i was doing 30 on a quite road when it was a 50 and he thought i was pissed so pulled me over breathalised me, then instead of giving me points and a fine 4 my bald tyre, he told me 2 get it changed and then take sum paper 2 the station saying it had been changed! and told me to be gone!

so never experienced a bad cop.... yet!!

There Are Nice Police About

......and then theres the ones that work in liverpool :nutter: :pancake:

I got pulled in Liverpool many moons ago as a young carefree biker, i was happily going along at 70 in a 30 on my way home to cheshire through an industrial estate past a nightclub called ferrari`s around 3am.

Showed him my documents & appologised to him, had a wee chat & he let me off with a warning ticket as he said it wouldnt be fair as one of his own bobbies had just been stopped by him going faster than me. The ticket was to say if i got caught doing a similar offence in the next 6 months by mersyside police they would have me for it & the ticket i got too.

lol if he was outside of ferrari's he was likely lookin to bag a prossie, hence why he didnt give you a ticket....his superior wudda know exactly why he was there lolol.......INFACT..... why was you there????
always nice to hear about decent police, as most people slater them. :) suppose it all depends on how you react with the police. give no respect earn none etc.....
I was stopped once in liverpool going into penny lane after being followed 'in excess of 30mph' he let me off and said don't do it again, may have been the same one
Ive never experianced a "bad cop". but its what comes throught the post that bites you in the butt. I got pulled sunday night, pissing it down went round a roundabout and my back end twitched. Thought nothing of it then they pulled me, got me on cctv making aligations i pulled my handbrake on. Utter balls, so i was nice and polite etc, just hope they arent gonna take this petty thing any further.
you would really have to upset a copper to be given anything more than a warning regarding becuase you left your rear fogs on. Just isn't worth the paper work.
I was stopped a few months ago for not wearing my seatbelt, he followed me for about a mile and he was alright, checked my car and my details, then told me he had seen my car around the local estate a few times and said it was a very nice example. Let me go after a few minutes, i think its all about the way you talk to them as well.
