I think GT5 prologue has to come out first,i've played the prologue demo and IMO it was dogshit,gfx where good but physics are wank.

 

GTHD concept 2.0 is available for download from playstation store,which u can access once ur set up for online gaming, its easy to set up just go to "friends" in the main menu screen and select "sign up to PSN" then follow instructions, once u've done that u can go to the playstation store and DL loads of demos and trailers and buy guys too.and in games just go into multiplayer and crack on

AFAIK Its May sometime, I've been keeping my eye on this as that is the reason I will buy my PS3, but until Gran Tourismo 5 is released. its the Good 'ol PS2 & GT4

IF the demo is anything to go by then GT5 prologue isnt worth the 350 quid. Its worse than juiced 2. Altho the HD concept game was fab as the handling was better. i recommend u play before u pay as the prologue demo is really really that bad

the demo of the prologue is available to download in japan,so if u sign up to PSN saying ur japanese,u can download it + many other demos we cant have yet

the prologue is out in march, and the full game is out in november 08 iirc. was supposed to be out this may then this xmas, its been put back so much its unbelievable!!

 

I think the drifting on the demo/ GT HD is quality, i got addicted and my score with the evo 6 was like 4th in the world last time i looked lol. but the time trial is awful, then again the track available on the game is terrible. and its just not loose enough, everything is too tight if u get what i mean, the physics of project gotham are amazing and im not sure which game is truer to life. anyone got anything to say on the matter?

gotham physics are ace but a bit on the arcadey side, GT physics are normally ok until the car SHOULD oversteer,when it never does (altho u can get GT4 to drift quite well if u put proper shite tyres on)

 

I havent played forza or forza 2 but i'd quite like to as those are sposed to be realistic.

 

there needs to be a TOCA race driver 4 for PS3 as TRD3 is actually one of the best all rounders i've ever played when it comes to the physics

forza 1 is amazing, but its a little too tail happy i think, havent played forza 2.

 

i agree that PGR is a little arcadey and that shows in the gameplay being about getting kudos!

 

Toca 3 i find very similar 2 forza which is a very good game!

 

the only problem with GT is that all u get is constant understeer. although it looks like they may have sorted it 4 GT5, aaand they have ferraris at last mmmmmmmm.

 

im thoroughly lookin 4ward to the new GT tho, i think itll be amazing!!!

Damn wish i had a 360 now. PS3 will shine one day,maybe with GT6 or a new TOCA,or ace combat (which is currently exclusive to 360 FFS)

getting a ps3 for christmas , was onli going to get it when gt5 came out but my dad said he will get me one for christmas so i cant say no to that , ive been playin gt4 on my ps2 for years.. never got bored of it , and do a lot of drifting on it ... if u change all the suspension settings etc u can do good drifts
