December 10, 200717 yr Before you think we were all being nasty for no reason,This question has been posted god knows how many times before and recently too,its just that no one ever bothers to read older posts which is why all the oldies were having a wind up at your expense ,if you take the front inner wheel arch liner out of either side of your escort you will see the huge rubber grommet there .you could fit your fist through it thats why they were winding you up as its huge.
December 10, 200717 yr “Take front inner wheel arch liner out you will find a huge rubber grommet “ Fu** me how hard was that just to tell him makes you wonder why new people sign up.
December 10, 200717 yr Nice job? The door is a completely different colour to the rest of the car! “Take front inner wheel arch liner out you will find a huge rubber grommet “ Fu** me how hard was that just to tell him makes you wonder why new people sign up. jump down his throat and maybe he wont ask a silly question again, maybe he'll use his initiative first and search for the answer before asking for it,saving bandwidth and our fingers lol. I found the grommet on my own just by following cables from the engine bay,its clear it goes into the wheel arch,so pull things away and u'll find said hole. It IS massive and if u look up under the glovebox (and possibly push some sound deadening aside) u'll find the other end
December 10, 200717 yr To you it might have been a silly question but to him it wasn’t, talking of bandwidth and your fingers if he was told the answer straight away it would have saved less, it’s simple if you don’t like the question and can’t be arsed to answer then fu**ing don’t then every one is happy just hope I don’t need a tow one day?

Although members have been extremely helpful to me i do agree with this comment - its takes just as much time to post a "search for it" reply as it does to just tell the answer.... I personally find that the search is not always effective because people do not label topic titles in generilised way and some of the spelling is not always the best which isn't ideal because the search facility isn't intelligent enough to recognise mis-spelled words in titles. Just my 2-pence worth as a newbie myself. As you can see from my post (left un-edited) my spelling is no exception with simple words such as generalised spelt wrong where i have been in a rush to type.
December 11, 200717 yr Author i've managed to sort it thanks ppl no argument was intended but i agree the search solution is far from easy to use but thanks
