Ashley exhaust systems

Are Ashleys exhausts any good. It would be a full system on a 1.8 zetec .

Also Im looking for one that not too loud, so not sure what these are like.

Cheap was the attraction of them... how about magnex? Im mostly interested in it being quiet'ish yet better than standard on performance.

Magnex is nice, Its SS but not the quietist although certainly not the loudest.

The GTi exhaust would be he same as mine though.

Whats happened is I need a new exhaust asap and Id rather mod whilst I need something rather than splashing out on a standard one and wanting to change it a few months down the line.

What system do people recommend, when I say quiet, I dont mean as quiet as standard, just a nice note

the exhuat system isn't a restriction for the 1.8 escort and as such won't give you much of a power gain

tbh honest i think ashley are crap rot very easy, i had a piper cat back ss system on my 1.6 and it sounded ace but as said magnex is the one to go for

with ashley you get what you pay for, but in that resppect they're good all mild steel systems are gonna rot eventually but at standard system prices they are ideal if on a budget.
