having desided on going the 2.0 zetec root what mods will get me a nice soild 150 HP. dont want to go turbo (insuance is a nightmare) or nitrous. or is this simpley just not going to happen.

What sort of chip can be used Hezz? As i've got a 2.0lt blacktop mondeo at the moment

No cat, proper race manifold and exhaust and a suitable remap should just about do it on a good engine. A slight raise in the compression ratio would be a good idea (might need to run on 98RON for/after mapping).

It'll still cost you in excess of £500, once you've got the inlet manifold, linkages, fuel pump (avoid facet like the plague) etc.

i know its going to cost a lot but i will be using 2nd hand parts. i had a ruff price of £700 fitted and set up by a pro.
