I have been given another escort gti due to a friend of mine owing me some cash and not being able to pay me,

 

The car is a 5 door escort gti in a sort of pale blue/silver,its done 86k genuine miles, It has got MOT till end of May 2008 but no tax,The car is in excellent condition with no rust on the arches,The leather interior is also in good condition with no signs of any wear,Its fitted with a sony CD player,Its got most of the MOT papers with it to back up the mileage and a certificate of a mileage check aswell,Its got some service history and a few bills for work being done to it, The most recent being for work carried out in may this year when it had new brakes,brake pipes,wipers,and suspension bushes fitted for the total of £325,Its just had a brand new battery fitted, I have got the important red key,Its got air con that works!! The only flaw is that the guy who owed me the money insisted that i had to put the car in my name so at the moment ive only got the new keepers part of the log book, when it comes back in my name i will re-send it out to who ever buys it,

 

I am located in middleton (just outside manchester)

Looks nice mate, but the only think i'd have to say is its really the wrong time to sell the car most people have spunked their money on crimbo.

Well ive just taxed it today so it has got Tax and MOT till the end of May 2008

if u were nearer and it was not going to cost me alot on the train,i would have had it,its worth the money because i sold me p reg ghia x with a mths tax and mot for 7 mths for only 550

shut it gemma bloody spending my money for me ( woman huh !) The money was not issue as I have it, its the distance dont fancy all that train lark

Just had another look round it and thought id check the spare as ive not even looked in the boot, Its got a alloy spare with tyre that has good tread but its flat, I also found in the boot a set of genuine Ford Escort rubber mats that are like new!

I will have a think tonight on it ,Is there any usual rust or service history prooving when the cambelt was last done ? ,is the air con fully working ? ,does it have the red key etc ,you know what I need to know as I can then sleep on it and get back to you
