I recently Purchased a set of White Dial GTI clocks on ebay for the measly sum of £0.01 (with postage of £10.99 and £1.00 added insurance)

However, after reading White_Van_Mans tutorial (click here) it has become apparent that these will not work in my van so as i lost out on the white ghia clock i was bidding on as well then i'm gonna call it a day and stick to my standard dials instead.

 

With postage and insurance these dials have cost me £11.98 so if any petrol owners are after a set of White GTi clocks then i will do them for £17.50 delivered... i'll still be losing a bit after sending recorded delivery to you but at least i won't be losing as much as i have!!

 

I understand that people maybe a little cautious about this sale with me being relatively new so i am more than happy to PM full contact details (including Landline telephone number) to anyone that is genuinely interested as added security for you all that this is a genuine sale.

 

I have been informed by the seller that they have been sent so as soon as they arrive i will take pictures for anyone interested.

EscortProject - I'm actually selling them for less than i brought them for - By the time i've paid postage i'll get £9-10 back for them and they cost me £12 to buy in total I'm more than happy to sell the clocks for £10 as long as the buyer covers postage....

 

marshy - £15 is a deal as long as you don't mind them being sent standard first class instead of recorded? Saying that, if special delivery is cheaper than recorded then i'l send them that way - will get pics up as soon as they arrive!! I've just checked with my parent (where my deliveries are sent so they can be signed for because i work all day) and my escort GTI gearknob has arrived but not the clocks yet - they were brought around the same time so the clocks should be here soon!

 

Talking of the gearknob - i paid 7.50 including postage.... anyone want it for the same price? I'm not looking to make a profit, i just can't be bothered with the van project anymore cause (a) Every part i want for it seems to fetch stupid money (RS7's, Recaros/Gti Leathers/Front Fogged bumper etc) & (b) after having a garage bill for £200 this morning for 4 new shocks and a new lower arm i'm not going to spend anymore on it - i've got enough to do to my Rover already, the van can get stuffed

Hey guys - i cant find my USB connector for my phone so give me a moment and i'll MMS some pics to my email account - if you want better quality pics then i'll have to get my house mate to take some on his diggy camera.

 

The knob itself is in good condition - has a very slight (2mm-3mm round) scuff from wear on top and a small hairline scratch by the 2 about 3-4mm in length.

 

Hang fire 2 mins and i'll get those piccies.

You can quite clearly see the scratch by the 2 (picture looks worse than it is) and the wear of the leather next to the insert by digits 1,3,5.
