  4. thanks very much, sometimes I look at really like them other times I am not too sure, I dont think 15's fill the rear arches enough - she is due some rear tyres so am thinking of changing them just dont know, was gutted about cracking the bumper though - parked in the same space 100 times hey ho should be sorted this coming week or next
  5. So today we have had a minor detailing session, initial clean with triplewax shampoo, second deep wash using Zip wax shampoo, initial layer of polish - fortron followed by a layer of Sonax. Fitted clolor coded boot strip, you will see the crack/ hole in the lower front bumper passenger side which occured last week in my gym car park (soon to be replaced!   7. Thanks for the thoughts, I am edging that way to be honest, i like the saphs but I do think i prefer the mondies???!??? they do fill the arches more than the 15's
  8. Ok small update. New lower arms and drop links fitted yesterday, full 4 wheel allignment done today. Next on the agenda, new rear tyres, change rear wiper to one from a laguna, hunt is on for new front bumper after cracking mine in my gym car park. Small question - what do you think of the lattices? I have the opp to get 16" mondie 5 spokes which have been refurbed with good rubber for probably a little more thna the cost of 2 tyres, do I stay with what I have or do I change? Caught between a rock and a hard place as many scorts have the 16's and not many the lattices (that I have seen anway.
  9. I do love a mark 2, I owned a run out edition 8v 3 door which was mint in flat white, followed by a mk3 gti, followed by a passat turbo sport and back down to earth with a mark 3 tdi! the Mark 5 is nice very nice!
