So today we have had a minor detailing session, initial clean with triplewax shampoo, second deep wash using Zip wax shampoo, initial layer of polish - fortron followed by a layer of Sonax. Fitted clolor coded boot strip, you will see the crack/ hole in the lower front bumper passenger side which occured last week in my gym car park (soon to be replaced! Ok small update. New lower arms and drop links fitted yesterday, full 4 wheel allignment done today. Next on the agenda, new rear tyres, change rear wiper to one from a laguna, hunt is on for new front bumper after cracking mine in my gym car park. Small question - what do you think of the lattices? I have the opp to get 16" mondie 5 spokes which have been refurbed with good rubber for probably a little more thna the cost of 2 tyres, do I stay with what I have or do I change? Caught between a rock and a hard place as many scorts have the 16's and not many the lattices (that I have seen anway.

I do love a mark 2, I owned a run out edition 8v 3 door which was mint in flat white, followed by a mk3 gti, followed by a passat turbo sport and back down to earth with a mark 3 tdi! the Mark 5 is nice very nice!
