Well after being quoted some stupid prices insurance-wise to go from a 1.6 finesse to a GTi, I had a good look round at what else i could afford and what kinda insurance costs i'd be looking at. Lol JC yep a couple Decided the wolfrace alloys would be too much of a pain to refurb so sold them on ebay.. near enough straight away i found a set of 5 RS2k's with tyres for half the cash i sold the wolfrace for. Always liked the RS alloys so thought why not Me and JC braved the near constant rain on thursday to change my interior to half leather and fit a new front fogged bumper with a laguna splitter and a lower lockwood grille, the old bumper proved to be a bit of a pain to remove but after a few choice words from JC it decided to come off . I know these mods are pretty old now and have all been done before but this is a long term project and im sure it will change more as i go on

Hi, I'm putting these up for swap as they need a respray and having never attempted an alloy refurb im not sure i can do them justice plus i just haven't got the time atm. If no one's interested by the time ive got the last few bits for my car i want, i'l have a couple of days off work, bite the bullet and have a go 17" Wolfrace alloys with 4 good 205/40z r17 84w FALCON tyres The alloys have very little curbing but the laquer has flaked on all 4 round the chrome lip (see pics). One thing i noticed is that these alloys have 'Wolfrace' lettering cut into the lip unlike some of the other Octane's I've seen. Cheers! I didn't really know what to expect when i brought it but for the money and ease of use im pleased with the results, plus the lights are a lot darker now but fully legal Sounds good mate, i'l see if we can sort it out
