I have installed an aftermarket central + remote locking unit with factory solenoids in the drivers and passenger door in a mk5 Escort. The problem is that when the car is locked it cannot be opened from the inside with the door handle. Every time the door lock's it goes into dead locking mode. Is there a way to disable the double lock feature?

Hi, I am in the process of installing a aftermarket remote central locking system in a mk6 escort. My car dosen't have a factory central locking system. I have already read on this forum that people mount their solenoids on the door lock barrel mechanism. If anyone could post some pictures of the selenoid install location that would be great. Also, what would be the best way to lubricate the lock mechanism as it lacks smoothness? Thank you all in advance.
