Hi All, Trying to gather some interest in my Mk6 Escort Finesse - just wanted to know if anyone on here was after one? Need to upgrade the car to a more modern, more comfortable car as doing many, many miles a week now - the car will be sold to make way for a new one! I would love to keep her but do not have the space for both It's a 1.6 petrol X Reg (2000) - one of the last to leave the production line I've been told? Does not have the standard 'diamond' alloy wheels that the Escorts had - this has 6 spoke alloys Amparo Blue 81,000 miles - though this is in use daily! MOT until October 2016 Standard car - no modifications or alterations Finesse Spec - Front Electric Windows (passenger window needs adjusting) Front Fog, Manual A/C, CD Player (yes still has the original head unit) Couple of little bits: - slight rusting to the rear wheel arches, the passenger electric window (as above), alloy wheels in 98% condition (slight bit of bubbling on 1 centre cap, and a slight scuff on one alloy - very minor!) Mechanically perfect - never given me any problems in the 16 years of ownership 1 owner from new Think that's all? I'm at work but will update this later if I think of anything else Looking for around £750 o.n.o Any questions please ask - I'm sure I've missed something, but as said I will update later Thanks for looking

No offence taken! Thanks for being honest - that £500 valuation is about what I had pictured in my mind, as you say she is a rusty 16 year old Escort and not deemed classic just yet! I will list on here as well as PassionFord - thanks for your help

Hi All, Newbie here, and after some help/advice on the below questions Currently have my Mk 6 Escort Finesse but looking to finally upgrade to a newer, more comfortable car as doing many, many more miles per annum now due to family commitments. Taken it to Ford, and they have pretty much laughed me off the forecourt The car is beautiful, a couple of rust spots on the wheel arches, but mechanically perfect - one of the last to leave the production line I've been told due to the different type alloy wheels (not the standard Diamond ones the Mk6 came with, more like 6 spoke) Typical Finesse spec - I know you guys and girls will know more about them than me so I won't insult anyone's intelligence by listing the spec LOL Amparo Blue in colour - 1 owner from new and 81,000 on the clock sitting on an X (2000) plate So my questions are: 1) How much do people think it's worth? 2) Does anyone know of a specific or specialist place (not eBay, Autotrader or Gumtree) that I can list it Would rather it went to someone who can offer her a decent home - would love to keep her as I know it will be a future classic but no space Many Thanks for your help!
