If he then started up an insurance again in about 2 years time, will he still have his 3 years no claims that he currently has? Or will he lose them and have to start again? Any advice please Good question! Yes, generally, as long as you use your NCB within 2 years, it is acceptable. Some companies allow 3 years but the majority is 2 years.
