escort4x4
cant see why it would fail so quickly, either you got a dodgy bearing or it was damaged while putting it in
nick_ov_uk
its what happens when you lower a car, you just have to live with it.
escort4x4
i dnt think lowered suspensions would affect it, i have had my car dropped 60mm for 3 years, still on the same bearings from when i bought the car, lowered suspensions would have there affect on wishbones etc
Trig
its what happens when you lower a car, you just have to live with it.I have never know that be a problem for an escort. Ryan, chances are a cheap bearing was fitted. When you replace it, make sure you get SKF, or a similar high quality bearing, it will cost more initially but it will be better in the long run.
