jayded1 Posted May 11, 2003 Share Posted May 11, 2003 Ok, so I'm wanting to re-carpet my car the seats come out, side trim panels no probs but then I get to the center console and can't get the damn thing off, I know it's has an upper and lower half and a single screw in the rear but how in the hell can I take it off? EssexMikeSi Posted May 11, 2003 Share Posted May 11, 2003 im guessin urs is a mk6 yea? if so, u take off the weird rubbery bit round the gear lever and under there is 4 nuts holdin a metal clamp on. unslide this, then the console needs to be pulled towards back of ar and slightly upwards and over the handbrake lever. hope this helps Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
