Rennie
you'll need 215/40/16 at the most with a 40mm drop on Es Cos rims, i've just fitted them to mine, but i am 60mm down, and 205/40 rubbed over bumps on my rear arches and rubbing on the front under very very hard cornering., so fitted 195/40 and now get nothing. HoldTilSold_co_uk
17's look better but 16's will probably drive better
Escort_Kid
id get cossy rims with 195/40 rubber fitted
mar_k
i think that 195's are pushing it a little considering cossy wheels are 8j wide, 215 is the best compromise in my oppinion and 205 at a real push, think about it, cossy rims are meant for 225 rubber so going for 215's are already alot narrower than reccommened.just my oppinion obviously. Jt.
my 8j dares have 215/40/16 tyres, dropped 60mm and no rubbing at all, none on full lock, none over bumps and none while driving hard, arches are standard and un-rolled,
