John
as above. it only does it when i use the cd changer. the front right hand speaker clicks as if the tweeter is blown or something but i've just put some new alpine speakers in there today and they are doing exactly the same thing. but use the radio and its fine no matter how much volume i put on it. unplug the right channel on the cd changer and the clicking stops plug it back in and it comes back again any ideas folks? it's a sony xrc7500 head unit and a sony 6 disc changer. the changer is only 5 months old but thinking about it it's only done it sinse i've had that in. what u rekon? mikey16v
the speaker wires could be split somewhere and shorting out on something metal!!or that channel on the amp is knackered.try swapping the speakers around on the amp, and if it changes speakers. then check the wiring!! John
it only does it when using the cd changer though surely if it was a wiring fault on the speakers then it would do it on everything?
