The bare bones of it is, if you agree not to drive at night (between 11pm and 6am) they'll knock a load off your insurance. Me for example, the best quote I can get (being a 20 year old student) is around the 800 mark from the compare websites. With more than, Im paying around 650 a year for my 1600 escort (with no mods). and for that, I get fully comp insurance, breakdown cover, legal cover, personal injury.... Loads of stuff! The only drawbacks, other than not being able to drive at night) is that you're not allowed to modify the car- they say to increase acceleration, top speed or handling.. So I reckon body mods might be allowed as long as they're not aftermarket. Call centres are mostly indians (... or scousers if you're lucky!) No use of other vehicles And you cant cheat them because they fit a tracking device to your car. I think its well worth it when you've just started.
