Some people can meet a few people at the above address but if people want to meet the group at southend they can do so hopefully be at southend about 9ish, any problems send me an email and i will sort you out my number.. fresh dfm Posted January 26, 2009 Share Posted January 26, 2009 Isnt south end only good in decent weather?? ive been before more towards the summer and the amount of done up cars nearly took me half hour jus to get from the roundabout to the seafront whereas iv been when its colder and theres been like ten cars maximum. Esp. when ya get tits like the guy in the blue clio last sat makin out he knew what he was doin lmao! How annoying was that when they put them bloody speed bumps in! ARGH! I used to love bein down by the roundabout watchin the sierra cossies driftin round it followed by the bmw....cossie wannabe's TRYING to drift!! lmao I did once on that roundabout....not on purpose mind u....I hit diesel in the road and was headin straight for the bollards...fortunately i gained some grip and managed to get back into a straight line...looked up to traffic on the oppo side of the road!! lol From an outsider tho it must have looked wicked!! Unfortunately I didnt make it to lakeside as I was sittin next to my learner friend who had to get home to her kids! On previous sat nights when Ive gone to lakeside its absolutely packed! Esp. in the car park with burger king in it, We learnt the hard way the other week .... dont go to macca's! lol u get stuck for ages! (over an hour!) I completely agree how things have changed! Southend used to take an hour n half to crawl up n down but ya just didn't care cos it was great back then! It all depends what time ya get to Southend as to how many people are there cos from half 9 onwards people start to head onto Bas! Its worth comin along this Saturday even if it is just to meet who ya been talkin to on the forum!! The other place thats sometimes worth a lookie is southfields in laindon, this is where u will find more than one sierra cossie driftin round the roundabout at the same time!! Great to watch them!!
