shuzeman
Now then. I'm looking to slap some mondeo wheels on my escort van. The front ones will go on fine, however the rear ones need a spacer. With the spacer on (10mm), I am left with very little stud to attach my wheel nuts. I've bought some extended studs but my problem is how do remove the front of the drum brake? I've trawled the internet but haven't found anything half useful. Please help...
nick_ov_uk
undo the hub nut under the grease cap, then bang em out with a hammer. have a look at a workshop book to see how to remove.
shuzeman
Well, they're on. Not sure what you ment by: undo the hub nut under the grease cap 'cos I couldn't find no hub nut. Turns out all it needed was lil' gentle persuasion with a lump hammer and it slid right off. old studs out, new studs in, spacer, wheel, done. Thanks for the advice though. Peace.
