Which Lasso tool are you using?.....If your going to use one of the Lasso tools, i suggest using the Polygonal Lasso tool. is there some technique or a cheat to this? like with the pics used in the sig i use at the mo its shaded underneath...?? To create the shadow under your car what i did was, cut around your car and placed that on one layer. Then i created a new layer underneath that and marked off an area where i wanted a shadow, then i created a feathered selection and coloured that and just lowered the opacity of the layer to get it how i wanted Bobs your uncle...
