Split CV joint gaiter

even easier then, take wheel off, undo hub nut, and bottom ball joint bolt, pop bottom ball joint out, pull hub towards you and pull driveshaft out the back, undo cv boot clips, pull driveshaft out of cv joint cup, swop boot, re-fit is reverse of removal :D Hope that helps :thumb:


Oh not forgetting to pack the joint with new grease :)

inner are u shure as could be wrong but inner does not come into mot so more than likely its an outer c.v gater unles they have just advised it


all cv boots come into it


is there a wee clip that holds the cv onto the driveshaft?


Not for the inner no, theres a circlip that holds the outer one on
