scott@midz Posted March 25, 2009 Share Posted March 25, 2009 well ive got the usuall escort problem with the cold start, start it up in the morning its runs for about 2 mins then dies, if i try and re start it straight away it wont have it so i have to leave it about 30 secconds then it will re start but i have to give it a bit of accelerator but it sounds like im getting a back fire on re start but it doesn't come from the exhaust it comes from the engine bay. im thinking of getting a new idle controll valve, but any other ideas?
