afternoon Guys,

Gone through the search thing but can't find what else to check.

I have replaced the Idle Control Valve with a brand new one from ford

I have replaced the MAF with a brand new one from Ford

I have removed the manifold vacuum pipe but made no difference.

I have left the battery disconnected all night, left it to find its own idle base but no change.

Whats happening is,

when you start the car, it revs to 2k revs, then drops to 1500 then to 1200, then to about 950 then upto 1000.

After I have driven it, if I stop at lights it idles at 1250 then drops to 1000 after a few seconds.

Don't know what to check now ?(

have you checked for air leaks around inlet manifold try spraying wd40 with engine running and listening for chaanges in idle while doing this , suspect speed sensor on gearbox but not 100 percent on how to check this
