mk6cabby Posted April 6, 2009 Share Posted April 6, 2009 (edited) ooops, drivers frontDan, The window regulator is held in with 6 10mm bolts, 5 of them you can see when you remove the card, one is under the bottom of the door. Lower the window down, so you can remove the 2 10mm bolts that hold it in place, Pull the window up and remove it from the door ( it will slide up and away once these bolts are undone ) Remove the bottom 10mm bolt, then the 2 10mm bolts to the left of the motor ( they are parallel to each other ) Then undo the 3 bolts that hold the window motor in place. At this point you should be able to remove the electric plug that powers the motor. You then need to twist the motor anti clockwise to get it and the arms to 'close' together ( you will see what i mean when the bolts are removed ) this then come out of the lower aparture of the door. If i can get my camera working, i'll take some pictures of the bolts etc... and post them up here. HTH Si.
