MikeyRS Posted April 12, 2009 Share Posted April 12, 2009 As title and per other thread, i am going to put up my 3dr Mk6 1.8 si in the very very rare aubergine colour. The car has 96k miles at the moment, the cambelt was changed at 82k and has been very very well looked after mechanicaly. The engine is as quiet as a mouse, which is unusual for the zetecs these days. It burns NO oil and looses NO water. The gearbox is the standard colour, no leaks, not discoloured like many are now. It is standard, comes with ford mudflaps and also a tow bar with twin electrics, in working cond. The car is MOT'd till AUG and Taxed till OCT (will confirm) but i can put 12 months MOT on it but the price will reflect this There is no rust to the arches, the boot has started to rust but i will get pix up to show the car properly. There are some fairly light scratches around the paintwork, i think due to previous owners using drivethrough carwashes, but im positive they will come out with t-cut etc... I will get pix up in the next couple of days... Still quiet as a mouse though. Has had 2 wheel bearings dones and front discs and pads done recently. Now fitted with 17'' alloys, half tints, RS2k skirts and spats, decat and back box. Alloys were 2nd hand and are kerbed. Front fogs are both smashed unfort. Mechanicaly sound, no probs at all, the strongest zetec iv had considering the age.
