ive been driving for three years now,and had three cars so heres how it started....

 

firstly with the 1.1 fiesta which i brought for £375 was probably one of the cleanest fiestas ive seen for a long time, except previous owner had a dog in there, and all grey dog hairs were tangled in the carpet, took ages to get only the majority of them out

Then my fatal floor.... a fiat punto,brought her for £600 the first day i got it, it conked out on me, much to the embarrassment of 3 of my mates being in the car and having to ring my step-dad up to giv us a tow home:(, basically replaced everything under the bonnet, even to the extent of oil and water filler caps, as money was tight at the time, had to borrow money to get her fixed, £100 here £80 there etc etc, until finally the gearbox started whineing, and thats when enough was enough and took a big loss on that only selling it for £120, only good thing i can say about the car is.. that the go-kart like handling was awesome, its one thing i do miss bout it

and finally my current car my beloved escort, had her now for 2 years, hadnt had any probelms at all with the escort apart from the maintenence side of things (cv boots, brakes, tyres..u get the idea) until 3 months ago where i found fairy liquid like bubbles in the water tank.. the head gasket had gone so got that replaced along with cam belt, so everything was fine until a month later when the car lost alot of power and started making a horibble tapping noise, needles to say i whipped the cam belt cover of and this is what i found..... turns out the garage done a sh*te job and either over tightened or under tightened the cam belt, i found this by whipping of the cam belt cover, low and behold this was what was starring back at me....

so insead of going to a garage found a lad that knows what hes on with, to do the belt for me againg at a good price of £100 including parts(and also rocker cover gasket) and well chuffed with the work and now runs spot on, and this is how she is at present..

i have learnt my lesson! and i wouldnt even have an italian woman in fear of she might break lol
