danc001
1994 Ford Escort Van Mk5(please take time to read)Long motlots of taxrs2000 front bumper15" alloystowbar1.8td engine with boost and fueling turned upboost gaugesony xplod headunit6x9s in rear bulkheaduprated door speakersfully borded out with built in tool cupboard this van has been my project over the last 6 months, its had alot of work done to it and has been fully converted to a 1800 turbo diesel from a 90ps mondeo, this has the later gearbox and ecu, however it has been converted to not run on an ecu to keep things simple, i had the boost turned up and the fueling turned up to match, it is now around 110bhp (est) also added a powersteering rack and column. the van is very quick upto 60mph and has surprised a few people, it has 15" oxygen alloys that have seen better days, it also has a boost gauge fitted on the dash. the van will happily pull 3 tonne behind it without the clutch slipping. i drive this van 100miles everyday to work and back, and it has never missed a beat, the engine had done 86k miles when it was fitted 2 months ago.the van had a full service last weekhad 2 new front wishbones on wednesday night along with all good things, theres always some bad things:-the seats are odd, 1 is a xr2i seat, other is standard van, however i have the other seat, just havent had time to fit it!-the throttle cable braket on the fuelpump needs welding to the old bracket, atm its cable tied on but has worked fine since i done engine transplant 700miles ago.-the front wing drivers wing is a bit dented- both rear lower corners and dented on the van-needs both rear number plate lights-needs new rear strut-needs front gearbox mount this is a reluctant sale as i had bigger plans for this van and was going to fit a FMIC and a T28 turbo to make it around 170bhp(ish) but due to having to buy a more sensible van for work i have to sell it the van is perfectly drivable and will do mile after mile with no problems! ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE DONT HESITATE TO CONTACT DAN ON 07922333960 VIEWING CAN BE ARRANGED AFTER 6PM WEEK NIGHTS IN CANTERBURY it has the fan on the switch as the plug was different on the thermostat, this need soildering in properly. there is a exhaust blows from downpipe, i will chuck in a decent downpipe, and you need a mk5/mk6 estate exhaust centre section as it still has the standard 1.8 diesel welded on, although the blow isnt very loud and ive used it like this since engine was fitted and is still fine, engine is quite noisey for the first 5mins, as soon as it warms up its fine! passenger door card pocket is not attached drivers door doesnt unlock with the key (i forgot the change that lock when i put the ignition in with the powersteering column) the tracking needs doing, as i havent had time to do it since fitting the wishbones a few days ago all minor probs van DOES run fine and drives fine, i still use it everyday! van was on ebay but i got messed around. i value van at £600WHY??? http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d164/danc001/Image009.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d164/danc001/Image010-1.jpg
