first car when i was 17: escort 1.3 MK5b

done loads to the bodywork then killed the engine so scrapped the tappy ohv engine and replaced it with a 1.4 cvh

after 2 years ownership it was rear ended and wrote off

 

next up was an AX GT i got for £300

after a bit of welding, loads of modding and a tidy up it looked like this:

very very fast car for a 1.4 and loads of fun too!

after a year and a half i sold it on to a mate as i was fed up of it always braking!

 

at one point the head gasket went and it failed the MOT on a few things so i took it off the road and bought this:

MK5 XR3i totally standard. had loads of bits from my first escort which soon found their way on to it

sold this after 6 months as the insurance was waaaay too much for a 21 year old and i also wanted to sort my AX GT out so needed the funds.

still miss it now and want to own another one day.

painfull part was seeing it drive around my area looking worse every time i saw it

 

owned a pug 405 1.6 GLS till some one decided to drive in to it on a roundabout and write it off. no pics of this!

not my sort of car but had to have it as it lived next door to me from brand new, woman driver and only 50K and i got it for a really good price.

 

with the insurance money from the 405 i got my current car and probably my favourite.
