The old chestnut ?(

Put a new one on my car as i was having idle problem, when driving push the clutch in and the revs shoot up to 2000rpm, but they will come down by their self and quicker if you tap the gas, Ok put the new expecting it to be sorted, but the revs shot up to 2000 and stayed there, could not get them down, this is not right surly, can any shed some light.

Ps i have changed the ecu and tem sensors as well.. what shall i do next??

Book it in to have it checked at a garage, rather than wasting time and money like me. I spent a week with a similar problem - Changed the idle valve, lander sensor and had all the injectors cleaned out and it was still dodgy.

They plugged it into a computer and found the fault in half an hour, turned out to be a burst pipe which supplyed air to a sensor!
