.....in the rear doors of a mk6? i will probs have to build pods, but how much room is behind the door cards? and will it fit around the window mechanisms, as i dont want the pods ( if i have to make em) to stick out too far otherwise it'll just look stupid.

Why u want um in the doors any how? I got mine 6x9 on the parcell self on my mk6. right behide the two passanger seats.

I was surpised how easy it was to cut throw as well.

eventually they will get fucked up because of the bass from subs, i only got a 10 inch atm and 6*9's in the shelf, it sounds wicked but coz of my plans for boot build the 6*9's will get battered by the ammount of air being moved by the subs that im gettin. john

do what ive done. run your 6x9 on a amp and switch it over to high pass filter. does the trick for me and the not getting hammerd

yeah im getting an amp for them soon. i want a phoenix gold xs4600 but they stopped making em, bro found one for sale but the guy aint stated the price. he also found me a pyle amp so we see how it goes. i already got a good plan for my system when it gets sorted properly:

Alpine cd headunit

Alpine type s components

infinity 6*9's in rear

2* audiobahn 12" subs

Boss audio amp

phoenix gold xs4600 or other wicked 4 channel amp

3 tv screens

i bet that will look and soundgood aswell. ive been thinking of getting centurion tv tuner and a dvd player. butim not sure wether to have one though, im undersided between a pioneer dvd head unit or have a seperated dvd player. i want a tv tuner for sure so i mite buy that first then decide on the dvd later on.
