The Shaunster
I have been looking at some 18 inch alloys for a escort today . Will 18's go on my totaly standard ford escort mk6 ? There is a bloke HERE who has put 18" wolfrace ikons on his escort, which i think is standard and also lowered
Pelles
they will go on yep, but anyone in the back and they will rub....id recommend getting the arches rolled too if you got them, only like 20-30 quid an arche, and you'd most likely just need the 2 rears rolled for when you have weight in the back seats
sime73
yeah rear arches rolling or the inner lip removing

Pelles
Will the wheels lock on full lock it will rub at full lock, my 17"s rub at full lock, but a bawhair off full lock they dont rub, id assume the 18's would rub too unless you get arche work, but its nothing i worry about since its only ever so light rubbing. muzzy
18" alloys. lol. look Good ! but too much effort to get them on ya car plus ur gonna get scrubbed, rolled and body work to have um fitted. If ya want ur car to be 100% show car then get the 18" alloys but for pratical road use get 17" max.Plus some people forget the price of tyres when it comes to mot or replacment time. 100 quid a tyre will seem expensive when ur two fronts need changing with out notice Edited July 27, 2003 by amuz45@hotmail.com
