cornishpasty02
Anyone know if it is hard to change the rear wheel bearing's on a 1997 Escort? Mine have started huming really badly. Are they quite cheap or not? Cheers
MILLSYS GTi
The genuine Ford rear wheel bearing is part no : 1137830 and ir retails at £37.98inc. i`m sure non genuine will be alot cheaper. As for fitting them i haven`t got a clue, its a piece of pee to the lads in our workshop, but they fit things like that all day. Millsy

Cabrio Zo
last one I bought from Ford was about £23 I think, and a patent one from motorspares place about £19. Can be a bit tricky, I'll be doing one on mine tomorrow (well I'll be attempting to do it, if get stuck will have to get my Bruv or J to do it!) Only thing is to make sure the sit flush in the hub imo and be careful not to damage the hub when punching out the old 'sleeves' imo Z
