wa1d3n
I am trying to find out what modern day speakers will fit the standard rear speakers fittings for a XR3I, something with a decent wattage. I don't want to cut the parcel shelf, as they are becoming hard to find and I wont to keep the car looking standard. Can anybody help, or post a web address where I can buy some? lee grout
I read on the Passion Ford website that xr3i speakers are... 4" front and 5" rear. Look for CARAUDIOSECURITY.COM or BASSJUNKIES.COM they should have all speakers for all sizes and fitments for all your needs.

lee grout
Easiest thing is to stick a tape measure on your current speakers. Just check whether they're oval or round though. then you know what to go for. Most speakers come in fairly standard sizes so just copy what you aleady have...what you waiting for, go find that tape measure.
wa1d3n
I don't have any speakers in the back but i can see where they was, they have 3 screwing holes on them, 2 at one end that are about 6cm apart and then one at the other end that is about 16.5 cm away, so i don't really know what would fit as its close to the seat belt thing. Thats why i was wondering if anyone has put speakers in the standard fittings before, that are not original? Edited July 3, 2011 by wa1d3n
