Phill Posted August 25, 2003 Share Posted August 25, 2003 I changed the colour of my dash illumination this week, following the instructions on this very site. But the resulting blue glow that now graces my dashboard, while funky, is rather faint compared to its original state.When I used less bulb paint, the colour was less blue, more white - not what I want!Any ideas? Is there a technique to using the bulb paint that I don't know about, or can I get some brighter bulbs to fit both dash and clock?Not Ebay please, I can't use it. damien Posted August 25, 2003 Share Posted August 25, 2003 sure did! i did it the hard way...... i bought side light led's (6 of em) took off the back casing to leave the two diodes and soldered them to the connections.... took me a while but the end result is pucker ! i changed the two bulbs in the dash, the two bulbs in the clock and one behind the the cold to hot dial.... if ross can dig out the pic i sent of my ka faced clock you will see how bright it is....
