My Van

Well its a 2001/Y plate 1.8 td van I'd been looking for ages for a van but nothing was coming up as i wanted/needed a van with history as i needed it for work, any how i was at home one day feeling rather ill checked auto trader and spotted this

I rang the fella he seemed ok so i jumped on the train to redhill and he picked me up OMG the van was a bit ok a wreck to say the least, it had been sign written which they had removed the writing with a screw driver but hadn't removed the sticky residue so it had 4 years of dirt on it as i really don't think the fella who had it knew how to wash it!! The rear door glass had been smash and no service history

 

Anyway he had mot'd the day i went and bought it so it had 13 months mot and 6 weeks tax, but i got to say there was something about it might have been the price!! i paid £195 for it yeap £195 and it had half a tank of diesel to!!

 

so drove it home no problems at all apart from the brakes were a tad soft, I handed it over to my mechanic he did the cam belt and turbo belt new front pads and disc's and a quick once over all in this cost me £200 so am well chuffed

 

Gave it a damn good wash took a day and a half!! put on a set of focus alloys

haven't done much to the outside really apart from new solid rear doors clear side indicators, wash and wax loads planned tho

 

now the in side i have been playing with I've started on the blue leds fitted my own dials and fitted a rev counter speaker pods bulk head fitted

Looks like the stereo was worth the £195 you paid for the whole van - look forward to the updates
