the_big_man Posted March 31, 2012 Share Posted March 31, 2012 am currently changing my engine for a 130ps lump and had a play with the ecu last night. My current ECU is 'DARK' for the 1.6 16v and has 4 black wires going to immobiliser riing. The ECU i have got came from a mk6 cabrio 130ps and came with the key and immobiliser ring, only thing is ring is slightly different and has 3 coloured wires and 1 black. When ignition is turned on my LED below the clock flashes like a lunatic and won't start. Is this the right ECU or am i being daft somewhere here!!
