E30 IS Coupe

picked this up about a month ago

 

sold the Audi & the other E30 more door

 

had a full re-spray

 

waiting on some BBS alloys to be refurbed gold

 

serviced it

 

m42 engine so pulls pretty well with only 140bhp but weights about 850k

 

at some point looking at a engine swap on her

The M42 engine is superb and can be turbocharged without too much expense. Better than sticking a heavy 6-pot in there

yeh thats another idea with the turbo, was looking at a strocker engine or m52

 

had a quick look at your new Audi great car but got some work to do with that one, be great once you get it running right

I've had a couple of 4-pot E30s myself and looked into engine conversions a fair bit and decided putting a 6 up front would ruin the great handling. There's so much info on turbocharging this motor, even some off the shelf kits available! That said.... you can get supercharger kits for it from the US
