PeterM
I'm going from CVH 1.4i CFI to PTE 1.4 SEFI from a 1995 Escort donor vehicle (pls dont't ask why not for a Zetec, it's an Austrian regulatory issue). Dismanteling the engine loom, I came to two connectors where I can go through the donor vehicle to the fuse/relay box with a multimeter to find out which cable is which one, or someone may help me here 1) There is a 12 pin-connector from the EFI body to the left sinde of the bulkhead, the pins being on the engine loom side (I gave numbers - see attached drawing:1 black2 brown3 green4 brown-white5 blue-green6 brown-green7 red8 black-red9 not in use10 black-yellow11 brown-green12 not in use(all sockets on vehicle side used, I think it's is the vehicle body cabeling I need noit to be interested in) On the right side near the ECU there is a connector "A6" which is going to the fuse/relay box on the left vehicle sinde (it's a LHD car) via a short loom where the PATS cabeling is integrated (forming type of a split loom with an additional connector with 4 pins, but labelled 1, 2, 4, 6), finally clipped into a connector "A II" I also gave the colors and I put the connections seen on the Ohmmeter in the picture of A6 http://up.picr.de/11667836nf.jpghttp://up.picr.de/11667835gf.jpghttp://up.picr.de/11667837uv.jpg I have some doubts on the colors as the vehicle is a post-1995 according to Haynes 1737 Escort&Orion, but the engine bay shows some up to 1995 colors (e.g. the connection from the coolant temperature switch to the ventilator which is black-red according to the old vehicle and should be violet-black on the newer ones Many thanks for now,Peter
