Chicane16v Posted July 28, 2013 Share Posted July 28, 2013 Hi all, it has been a while since I have been on here now - yet believe it or not I still have an escort after all these years!Basically I brought myself a BMW 316i only to find out in the following weeks that I will be losing my job.Unfortunately this was unexpected, and we only just got married in September which we are still paying off also.Worrying times ahead, so the car has to go It has only done 75,000 miles, has partial service history and one years MOT (only one advisory).Body work is excellent, with there being only a dent in the bonnet which is not too noticeable.It also has a private number plate of "M3 KPM" which goes with the car.I personally think that it drives lovely!However things to note are the ABS and Traction Control lights are lit up on the dash; but brakes are nice and sharp and passed the mot?The Oil Light is lit up on the dash but goes out after driving around for a bit; no oil leaks or loss of pressure?And the airbag light is always on, which is a standard thing.I am sure this is simple stuff and I am informed I can have the lights turned off if I wanted? I am not going to be spending any money on a car I need to sell quickly.As you can imagine, I need a quick sale as have bills to pay with no income very shortly.I am after £1200, I believe the number plate to be worth some money in itself?Car is located in Alresford (Colchester) Essex.
